There was a time when there were so many big night clubs in Philly. While most of them were pretty lousy, Shampoo always seemed to have the edge, and is probably why it's stll open. Nocture, Philly's largest and longest-running goth/industrial weekly is hosted here, as well as other successful DJ nights, both mainstream and alternative. Of course it can get a little cheesy at times, but what else do you expect?
